Casillas Beware of Ireland

Spanish captain, Iker Casillas, reminded his
colleagues not to underestimate their
potential opponent in the 2012 European
Cup, the Republic of Ireland. According to
him, the Irish could make a surprise. In the
group stage of Euro 2012, Spain entered a
relatively difficult group. La Furia Roja
joined in Group C with Italy, Ireland and
Croatia. On paper, it will be Italy's
toughest rival for the defending champion.
However, according to Casillas, it did not
make the other team to be
underestimated. "It's never easy to believe
a team like Ireland, so we must give
maximum respect. There are good teams
that will try to destroy our party," said
Casillas Mirror quoted. "We want to retain
the European title which we won four
years ago. There will be game-the game
interesting, but we must be careful," said
Real Madrid goalkeeper. Spain will start
with the 2012 European Cup against Italy
on June 10, 2012 in Gdansk, Poland. Four
days later, they will be challenged Ireland
in the same place.
